Today on International Day of the Girl, LOLA has joined The Tampon Tax Back Coalition, a coalition of period care brands led by August, that have come together to take a stand against the “luxury tax" on period care.
We’re proud to be one of eight period care brands uniting to reimburse your tampon tax dollars back if you live in one of the states that still taxes period products as non-essential goods.

We disagree with this categorization and recognize our responsibility to help impact change. We’re committed to shining a light on the racial and social disparities that contribute to period inequity. And we’re working to fight these injustices, together.

Get your tax dollars back
If you live in one of the states that still charges the tampon tax, you can get reimbursed for your tax dollars. If your state does not charge a tampon tax, help LOLA spread the word about this initiative so those impacted can get their tax dollars back.
How it works
1. Enter your phone number here to sign up for the program. Please note that you will only be able to receive payments if you sign up. You will receive a text to confirm that you are opted in.
2. Text photos of your retail receipt(s). Please note you must send your receipt within 10 days of purchasing to receive payments. Be sure that your receipt includes all items purchased as well as the store location.
3. A calculation will be made as to how much you paid in taxes on qualifying products and you will receive that amount via Venmo (or PayPal if you prefer) within 48 hours.
