So, how does it work?

LOLA’s Washable Period Underwear is built to keep you dry, odor-free, and comfortable. Each pair of underwear has a “gusset” with a layered absorbent core designed to hold up to 3 regular tampons’ worth of liquid. 

  • The top layer keeps you dry by evenly spreading liquid from the top surface and pushing it to the middle layer. 
  • The middle layer is there to absorb liquid as soon as it makes contact.
  • The bottom layer is breathable and liquid impermeable to keep you safe from leakage.

Care Instructions: Pre-rinse in cold water before use. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with gentle detergent and similar colors. Tumble dry low. Do not soak, use stain removers, hot water, harsh detergents, bleach, or softeners.

    These are a must!!!

    I absolutely LOVE these underwear. I stay dry and comfortable. My period has changed the past year and I don't need super+ pads and tampons. I can mostly get away with these underwear for my regular flow/spotting days. I don't like wearing pads and my mom brain forgets when I have a tampon in which is dangerous. I wish the underwear came in tan and I know the are reuseable but $30 seems a little steep for me. Otherwise, I wish I had tried these YEARS AGO!!

    Wish I had tried these years ago!

    Way more absorbent and less bulky than I imagined - I couldn't be more pleased with them. I only wish I had tried them before now - I could have saved myself years (decades!) of hassle!

    Slept Like A Baby

    I recently switched to Lola after experiencing breakouts on my lower butt cheeks from using the "Always Overnight Pads". I placed an order for both pads and tampons, and I also bought one of the Washable Period Underwear to try out. I specifically purchased the Washable Period Underwear for sleeping, and I loved it! It was incredibly comfortable, kept everything dry, and I didn’t break out at all. I just ordered three more pairs so that I have one for every night of my cycle.

    Comfortable, but make sure you size according to the size chart.

    I had never heard of "period underwear" before. My daughters had to explain to me what they were. So, my expectations were bulky, like wearing a large pad in a large pair of underwear. With hesitation, I ordered because of a prolapsed bladder and that these underwear would help hold everything in. I went up a size thinking it would be better. Wrong! I should have bought according to the size chart. Possibly a size down. They are great. Comfortable for my specific needs of holding everything up with this bladder prolapse. Seems like they would work well for what they are meant to use for, period underwear.
