So, how does it work?

LOLA’s Washable Period Underwear is built to keep you dry, odor-free, and comfortable. Each pair of underwear has a “gusset” with a layered absorbent core designed to hold up to 3 regular tampons’ worth of liquid. 

  • The top layer keeps you dry by evenly spreading liquid from the top surface and pushing it to the middle layer. 
  • The middle layer is there to absorb liquid as soon as it makes contact.
  • The bottom layer is breathable and liquid impermeable to keep you safe from leakage.

Care Instructions: Pre-rinse in cold water before use. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with gentle detergent and similar colors. Tumble dry low. Do not soak, use stain removers, hot water, harsh detergents, bleach, or softeners.

    Affordable periods!! And I can wear WHITE PANTS!

    I LOVE my period underwear from Lola. I currently own 3 pairs and plan to buy more once I can afford them. My only criticism is that I wish they were a little more seamless, but I understand they are more focused on full coverage and no leakage. Speaking of no leakage, I WEAR WHITE PANTS ON MY PERIOD NOW!! I’ve always had some feelings about monthly costs for a function of my body that I cannot control, but these have helped my budget so much! I’ve been a die-hard tampon user since I was 14 because sitting in my own blood (pads) often gave me rashes. But after I experienced an IUD rejection, my cervix is VERY sensitive and I can no longer tolerate tampons. Lola’s period underwear doesn’t make me break out like pads!! Thank you for keeping me comfortable during my period Lola, thank you for prioritizing women’s health!

    Easy Switch

    I purchased two pairs a few years ago and have loved them. Since the birth of my second child, I cannot for the life of me use tampons anymore. I decided it was time to purchase a few more pairs of undies and the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner! I love these period underwear. I wish these had been around when I entered my journey into womanhood. They do run tight, so I definitely recommend sizing up. Thank you LOLA for creating great products that I feel good putting on and in my body!
