So, how does it work?

<p>LOLA’s Washable Period Underwear is built to keep you dry, odor-free, and comfortable. Each pair of underwear has a “gusset” with a layered absorbent core designed to hold up to 3 regular tampons’ worth of liquid. </p><ul><li>The top layer keeps you dry by evenly spreading liquid from the top surface and pushing it to the middle layer. </li><li>The middle layer is there to absorb liquid as soon as it makes contact.</li><li>The bottom layer is breathable and liquid impermeable to keep you safe from leakage.</li></ul><p><strong>Care Instructions</strong>: Pre-rinse in cold water before use. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle with gentle detergent and similar colors. Tumble dry low. Do not soak, use stain removers, hot water, harsh detergents, bleach, or softeners.</p>

You Won’t Regret This
I will admit, I was not a huge advocate for period underwear for a long time. I am a major tampon-user so I just didn’t feel I needed to invest in period underwear. However, these changed all that for me. I work busy 8 hour shifts at work where I don’t get many opportunities to use the restroom. When I am on my period, I rely on these period underwear to make sure that I don’t leak in the event that I can’t make it to the bathroom once or twice during my shift.
It is so nice to know that I have a reliable alternative to pads and tampons that I can wash and re-use. It is so easy once you get in the habit of using them. I now have three pairs of these and I wouldn’t want to go through my period without them! You won’t regret it!
The added bonus: saved up points from all my LOLA purchases got me a pair for free :)

Underwear
This is nice quality underwear, it holds up well, it works well. However, I would like to see reinforcements all the way up the back of the underwear, for night time leaks. This underwear is great for daytime wear, but at night time, there can be leaks going up the back. Or, if you had a different pair of underwear strictly for night time, I would buy those.

Love these
I ordered 3 pairs months ago and now just put in an order for 3 more. I simply love them as I hate wearing a tampon and/or pad to bed. I never thought this would be something that would work/I would like - but they have truly changed the game for me and are amazing!
