What absorbency levels do LOLA tampons offer?

LOLA tampons follow the standard absorbency rules set by the FDA: Light tampons absorb up to 6 grams of liquid, regular 6-9g, super 9-12g, and super+ 12-15g.

What absorbency levels do LOLA pads offer?

Night pads are great for heavier flows and overnight protection. Day pads are perfect for medium flows.

What absorbency levels do LOLA liners offer?

LOLA liners come in one absorbency and size - ultra thin. They are perfect for light days, spotting, or daily wear.

What are the ingredients in LOLA tampons?

LOLA tampons are made out of 100% organic cotton.

What are the ingredients in LOLA pads and liners?

LOLA pads and liners are made of 100% organic cotton top sheet and core with a plant-based leak-proof backing. We use a non-toxic adhesive made of aromatic/aliphatic hydrocarbon resin, SIS rubber, and mineral oil.

What is the difference between a day pad and a night pad?

Nights pads are longer and a bit wider than day pads for additional protection while you sleep. Both are made using the same ingredients.

How can I adjust my assortment of products?

Where are LOLA products made?

LOLA products are made in Europe and packed specifically for you in the USA. Our European partners have been manufacturing feminine products for decades, so they know their stuff.

Are you approved by the FDA?

Of course! In addition to our own FDA approval, our partners are also FDA approved and have highly structured systems of testing and quality assurance.

How do I use a compact applicator?

The LOLA tampon is contained inside a plastic applicator, which is made of two tubes, one inside the other. You need to extend the applicator to its full size prior to insertion. Pull the inner tube out until you feel it comes to a stop. From here on out, it works just like any other tampon with a plastic applicator.

We've always had success holding the fully extended applicator between our index and middle fingers using our thumb to push the tampon out. We found that this helped us get a better grip on the applicator. Be sure to push the inner tube into the outer tube until the ends meet. This will ensure that your tampon fully deploys from the applicator.

How do I use a non-applicator tampon?

First, find the uneven place on the blue tape and tear the wrapper off (this can be recycled!). When the tampon is unwrapped, pull down the strings at the base of the tampon. Then, place your forefinger at the base of the tampon and your thumb on the side facing you. Aiming towards your back, push the tampon inside you about as far as the length of your forefinger.

How do I use a pad?

First, unwrap the pad from the packaging. Then, remove the backing to expose the adhesive and place the pad in your underwear with the adhesive down. Finally, expose the adhesive from the front of the pad to unfold the wings and wrap them around the underside of your underwear.

How do I use a liner?

First, unwrap the liner from the packaging. Then, remove the backing to expose the adhesive and place the liner in your underwear with the adhesive down.

How often should I change my tampon?

The FDA recommends that you change your tampon every 4-8 hours. You should never leave a tampon in for more than 8 hours and always make sure to use the lightest level of absorbency possible.

How often should I change my pad?

We recommend changing your pad or liner every 4-6 hours, though really you can change it as often as you need to.

Do LOLA products contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs)?

No, LOLA products do not contain any GMOs.

Can I flush LOLA tampons?

While LOLA tampons are biodegradable, we do not recommend flushing them as tampons can cause blockages in your plumbing or septic systems.

How does my LOLA subscription work?

Easy! First, pick what product(s) you want. Then, choose the product assortment and number of boxes you want delivered at once. Finally, decide how frequently you'd like to receive your box(es) - every month or every 2 months. Enter your shipping and billing information, and voila! You've just made a smart choice regarding your feminine care.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping is always free. If you need expedited shipping, we're happy to get it to you faster at additional cost (displayed at check-out).

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship to the continental United States. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, APO addresses, Saipan, or other international locations... yet.

How do you ship LOLA packages?

For 1-box orders we use DHL eCommerce and for 2- and 3-box orders we use Fedex Smartpost which both use USPS for the last mile of delivery. Also, our packaging is very discreet (just plain cardboard and a shipping label)!

If I sign up for one order, will my subscription be renewed?

Yes, you'll automatically be renewed for a second order. Visit your subscription preferences in your profile where you can adjust, skip, or cancel your subscription.

Where can I track my order?

Each order has a specific tracking number that you will be emailed after your order ships. If you no longer have access to that email, you can request your tracking information by emailing us at help@mylola.com.

My shipment hasn't arrived or it arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please email help@mylola.com and we'll get things sorted out for you.

My tracking information says my order was delivered but I can’t find it. What do I do?

Sometimes, our packages will be delivered to a neighbor, a mail center, or a management office. If you look around and are still unable to find your LOLA order, just email help@mylola.com and we'll make sure you get your products.

If I want to adjust my order date or box contents, by when do I need to make changes?

You can make any changes to your order in My Account up to 24 hours before your next renewal date. If your order processes with any incorrect information, just email help@mylola.com and we'll get things sorted for you.

If I want to skip an order, by when do I need to skip?

You can skip (or un-skip!) an order in My Account up to 48 hours before your next ship date. Please note that you can only skip one order at a time.

I won't be needing LOLA products for a little while. How do I put my subscription on hold?

Unfortunately, our site does not have a hold function for subscriptions. We recommend either switching your subscription to bi-monthly delivery or skipping your next few orders.

I need my LOLA products earlier than my renewal date! What do I do?

If you ever need to un-skip an order or need your LOLA products earlier than your set renewal date, just email us at help@mylola.com and we can manually renew your subscription. This will get your LOLA products to you as quickly as possible without creating a duplicate subscription.

I forgot to update my address before my order shipped. What do I do?

Don’t worry, we can still get your LOLA products to you. Just email help@mylola.com with your new address and we'll get you sorted out.

How can I refer a friend?

Thanks for helping us spread the word! Once you're signed in on www.mylola.com, click My account and then select Refer a friend in the menu on the left hand side. From there, you can share your unique referral code via Facebook, Twitter, or email. When your friend creates an account with your referral code, they get a $5 credit, and when they make a purchase, you get a $5 credit! Win-win.

Payment & Privacy

How does LOLA pricing work?

Depends on what you order! Applicator tampons are $10 per box and non-applicator tampons, pads, and liners are each $9 per box. For subscriptions with more than one box, we offer $1 off each box in your subscription, so two-box subscribers save $2 and three-box subscribers save $3. Also, all first-time customers get 1 box free on any order of 2 or more boxes.

When is my credit card charged?

We charge your card the day your subscription renews and your order processes.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. For international credit cards, simply add the international billing address you'd like to use to your profile and a US address for shipping. We don't ship internationally... yet!

How do I update my billing address or card on file?

Simply visit your profile in My account and adjust your billing address or preferred method of payment.

What is your cancellation policy?

We'll be sorry to see you go, but you can cancel anytime, free of charge.

I'm unhappy with the product. Can I return my order for a refund?

We love our products and we think you will too, but we understand that relationships don't always work out. However, given the intimate nature of our products, we cannot accept returns.
